Supervisor for Plant Product Engineering (m/w/d)
Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of development engineers in Darmstadt and US to achieve established business goals and objectives- Guide and develop process to technically managing series projects at different locations in close cooperation with all external/internal parties
- Interface between production plant, Global R&D and external parties (customers, suppliers)
- Implementation of changes and cost-optimization projects
- Coordination, completion, initiation, and subsequent management of tasks generated in design, prototyping, testing and other internal departments in collaboration with production
- Exchanging information with the relevant departments to optimize the product and the production process - DfA; DfM; DtC
- Obtaining technical approvals for new applications
- Define, monitor and follow up strategies to support corporate goals
- Continuously set, update and align strategy for process development and improvements
What we looking for:
- Graduate engineer, focus on engineering or design or industrial engineer with a technical focus (bachelor/master)
- Several years of experience in similar role preferably in the automotive industry
- First experience in team leadership roles
- Knowledge of standard operating procedures, process instructions and ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001:2005 - Quality assurance systems (automotive)
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Excellent self-management skills and teamwork attitude
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
