In Global Multi-brand Operations, it is our vision to professionalize the way we take over Multi-brand sites and implement a Vestas standard to increase the availability of our Multi-brand wind farms and enhance customer satisfaction. It is our responsibility to review the needs in the Multi-brand area and to work with teams across regions to ensure that all required tools and procedures are in place.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Siemens SCADA Engineer (m/f/d) located in Rheine, Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, Lisbon or Aarhus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconfigure the SCADA, power regulation and control systems
- Provide support and knowledge transfer to global stakeholders
- Development of additional features as per customer's request
- Support disaster recovery on Siemens SCADA equipment
- Create work instructions and define critical spare parts
- Assist in project site inspections while working on multiple assignments
Qualifications
- Electro-technical or electrical engineering degree with at least 3 years’ experience of working as a SCADA engineer
- Practical experience with SCADA technologies, panel building and grid calculations
- Good knowledge of Siemens SCADA systems and interfaces to 3rd parties
- Professional English skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, organise and prioritise tasks with a skilled methodical and problem-solving approach
Competencies
- Good IT skills and experience with MS Office packages
- Ability to perform effectively as part of an international team
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Comfortable communicating technical updates to a large organization and to customers
- High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality

Additional information
Your primary work location can be Vestas office based in Rheine, Germany, Portland, US or Aarhus, Denmark however other locations can be considered if we find the right profile.
This position might require global travel up to maximum 25 days of a year.
